Terming Dr. Farooq’s challenge to Narinder Modi to hoist tri-color in this part of Kashmir rather dreaming to do the same on that part of the Kashmir, AIP Supremo and MLA Langate Er. Rasheed has accused Farooq Abdullah of promoting New Delhi’s view point just to divert the attention from the real issue of Jammu & Kashmir. In a statement issued to Brighter Kashmir today Er. Rasheed said “Farooq Sahab must understand that maintaining status-quo is not any solution and Kashmiris have not made huge sacrifices just to maintain status-quo on both sides of LOC, but to get right to self determination. Rather daring Narinder Modi to hoist a tri-color in Srinagar, Farooq Sahab who all along his life has propagated strongly India’s view point on Kashmir can advice Modi to hold a plebiscite on both the sides of LOC so that Farooq Sahab who often claims to be more Indian than the Indians can vigorously campaign and motivate people to vote for India in the plebiscite and Modi Ji’s dream of hoisting tri-color in Muzaffar abad and Mirpur will be fulfilled”. Er. Rasheed accused that National conference is making hue and cry about Azad Kashmir being part of Pakistan only to strengthen India’s view point on the overall dispute, as those expecting PAK to be India’s part some day without succeeding in doing so through plebiscite, are living in fool’s paradise”. Er. Rasheed asked Farooq Abdullah to stop from becoming New Delhi Proxy and acting like a puppet on the dictate of his masters just to avoid an honorable settlement to the dispute of J&K and to ensure that huge sacrifices do not go into waste by implementing Dr. Farooq stupid status-quo theory.
